MUGSS performs Utopia Limited at the Dancehouse Theatre from 14-18th March -- tickets are £5 for students. We hope you and your members will join us to watch the tale of English customs, progress and musical theatre -- it will make a great social and a chance to see some of your members perform on stage before joining us in the bar afterwards.

A tropical island lives in luxurious laziness, until the ruling Princess decides to introduce the "best" of British culture - Reality TV! What will happen when Utopia is televised?

One of the main themes of this rarely performed, slightly reworded show is how the royal palace responds to the immediate fame from the changes that their Reality TV show create in their lives.

Experience for yourself one of Gilbert and Sullivan's classics with a hilarious MUGSS production! Manchester Universities' Gilbert & Sullivan Society presents Utopia Ltd, featuring memorable tunes and madcap characters in an inventive modern adaptation. While we don't have anyone who imitates a cat, we do have a Celebrity Chef, An Operatunity Contestant, Cleaning Ladies, a TV Producer and a Child Psychologist, after whom Utopia will never be the same again. Come and watch this tale of "progress" and musical theatre at the Dancehouse Theatre Manchester, for one week only, from 14th - 18th March 2006.
